🌙 Introduction 🌈
Jaia is the ship between Mia Lunare and Jack Angiolo from Bewilthred. The two initially start out as friends but overtime progress into a romantic relationship with one another.
Mia and Jack are about as equal and as opposite as the sun and the moon. In the same ways they compliment one another, they contrast each other. While to an outside perspective, they have a simple, carefree loving bond, those who peer a bit deeper can see the complexity of how they mesh together. Mia, who is honest but “selfish”, and Jack, who is selfless but “dishonest” help teach other how to neutralize each of their faults. They do this not by compromising who they are, but by doing the opposite.
Mia and Jack are incredibly authentic with one another, which both helps Mia feel more understood and Jack feels as if he can truly express his feelings. No matter how they push or pull, the two are adventure partners for life. As long as they can trust each other as deeply as they do, they’ll be able to take on any challenge this universe has to throw at them.
🌙 ACT 1 🌈
As Act 1 progresses, the two get to see each other's vulnerabilities more clearly. While they start out as a very surface level pleasant friendship, as more pressure is placed on them they begin to see each other's flaws.
The idea of this petrifies the two of them, but for the first time in their lives they’ve actually got someone to feel comfortable with in that way. Mia directly challenges a lot of Jack’s more dishonest practices, such as holding in his true thoughts. While uncomfortable at first, by pushing Jack to change his negative habits, the two have a more fulfilling and healthy bond with one another.
The same goes for Jack towards Mia, who emphasizes to her that nobody is against her and that she needs to trust that people want to understand and love her. Through that understanding, she is able to equally be pushed into the right direction of finally doing what she wants to do without limitations. Through their progression in Act 1, the two get better at working together by the day. Maybe someday, they could even be the adventure duo they strive to be.

- Ironically, I was originally going to pair Jack with Lia. The battle of the ia's. Obviously this didn't work out because Lia ended up being an aroace lesbian LOL.
- They were my fixation in 2018-2019...very early in the Blanki Blorbosphere
- Some of the clothes Mia wears were originally from Jack. This has been true in almost all iterations of Bewilthred including the current one!
- They are THE sun and moon couple in Bewilthred. I mean Mia is literally the moon and Jack is constantly spoken of like a ray of sunshine. Plus the flower Jack has is a Sun Flower. So.
- They were the focus pairing in Jack's Plant, which was the first finished Bewilthred thing I did!
- They're the last Bewilthred couple to get together!
