Eirnabi is the ship between Hanabi Furukawa and Eira Morozov from Bewilthred. The two share a very complicated relationship. They start out as friends, turn to enemies, and then reconnect and fall in love.
Eira and Hanabi, like their symbols, are two parts of the same whole. Their history with one another is deep and tragic. You could’ve called them soulmates, at least before Peace came into the picture. When she did, the two began to drift apart, eventually ending in an explosive end to their relationship that ended with Eira exiled and Hanabi getting the “purpose” he was looking for.
Hanabi spends many years harboring deep guilt about what happened with Eira, and Eira reasonably resents Hanabi for what they’d done. If they could meet again, could they fix what has been broken? Or would that only tear them further apart. With the Warriors at least, the changes coming their way are far from predictable.
If you want really in-depth reading about Eirnabi before Bewilthred's main story, you can find it on their main profiles in their history sections! Here's Eira's and Here's Hanabi's! Keep in mind though that there are a few spoilers!
Eira and Hanabi reunite in Act 2, though admittedly not under the best circumstances. After Eira takes the warriors in, they initially make a point to remove themselves from Hanabi as much as possible. Eventually though, the two begin slowly talking bit by bit again. For a moment, it seemed as if things were finally being repaired.
Of course, though, as Hanabi jumps to call Eira their “friend” in a confrontation with the Omne Founders, it throws Eira for a loop. After Eira tries to leave the warriors so as to not interfere with their relationship with Hanabi, the two are finally forced to talk about what had happened all those years ago. Once Hanabi is able to finally take accountability for his actions, and Eira is properly able to explain their hurt, the two see each other again and last and start to love one another again.
They couldn’t be the same way as before, but they could make something new. They’re older and wiser now, this time perhaps they could love each other as they wanted at last.
